However what isn’t widely known is that some of these best wineries, distilleries and breweries are hidden away in Tasmania’s capital of Hobart.  From urban wineries, distilleries nestled behind historic hotels and breweries hiding in old wharf warehouses.  The Urban Secrets tour will allow you to kickstart a weekend away in Hobart by experiencing the best the city of Hobart has to offer across wine, spirits, beer & cider.

Itinerary

• Pick-up from central Hobart location
• 3-4 Cellar Door Tastings of varying drink styles (Tasting Fees Included)
• Food will be available to purchase at the final cellar door

The stops are kept secret until the day of the tour. This allows us to show you the very best Hobart has to offer and the places locals, including our tour guides, love to visit.  All Ageing Barrel Tours in Hobart are conducted in our Mercedes mini bus and guided by our own specialist tour directors, allowing you to experience the full range of offerings in comfort and style.

Departure + Return

We would normally pick-up at 12.30pm. We have many amazing cellar doors to visit and we need to make sure we get away in time to fit in all our wonderful stops.

As a Private Tour experience we can pick-up directly from your Hobart accommodation.

Our tour finishes at the last stop of the day.  After the last tasting (approx 4.30pm), stay a little longer and have a bite to eat, or take a leisurely short stroll back to your Hobart CBD accommodation.  Alternatively we will drop off (upon request) at any CBD hotels at around 4.30pm.

How many in a group

Tours run with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 11.
