Explore some of Tasmania’s most beautiful vineyard settings with Ageing Barrel’s East Coast Wine Tour. The East Coast of Tasmania is a picturesque 2hr drive from Hobart, and is home to an array of award-winning, cool-climate winemakers who are passionate with sharing their life’s work with fellow wine connoisseurs.

The East Coast is home to not only passionate and talented winemakers but also some of Tasmania’s most beautiful scenery, often referred to as Tasmania’s Great Ocean Road.

Our tour includes tastings at 4 Vineyards + a Tasmanian Cheese Platter served with one of your wine tastings + a delicious Asian Inspired Multi-course Vineyard lunch showcasing local Tassie produce.

Departure + Return

We depart from Hobart at 8.30am. We have such a busy day, with so many beautiful Vineyards to visit we need to make sure we get away no later than our scheduled departure time.

We can also pick up from any accommodation between Hobart and Cranbrook along the highway route (e.g. Sorell, Orford, Triabunna, Mayfield, Swansea & Dolphin Sands).

Your Tour Host will pick you up from your accommodation. Please be ready to depart by your notified scheduled time (this may vary depending on where your accommodation is). The tour will conclude with drop-off to your accommodation at the end of the day.

How many in a group

Private Tours run with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 11.

For larger groups we can hire a larger bus to cater for up to 22 guests – please check with us for pricing if you are wanting to book for a group larger than 11 guests.
