Welcome to Uplands Vineyard, a small, family-run vineyard in Tasmania’s picturesque Coal River Valley. Owners Michael and Debbie are privileged to be custodians of this historic property. Uplands was built in 1823 (making it older than the city of Melbourne) and is surrounded by beautifully maintained and manicured gardens.
Only four families have held ownership over Uplands in the past 195 years. Michael and Debbie purchased the four hectare property in 1997, and today they carefully manage half a hectare of Chardonnay vines and have recently added half a hectare of Pinot Noir.
